One person was killed in a shooting in South Bend.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of North Johnson Street.

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and investigators were on the scene well into Friday morning.

So far, there is no word of any suspect or victim information, arrests or details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting.
