Person stabbed during group fight in South Bend

South Bend Police are investigating the report of a stabbing.

It happened on South Eddy Street, south of Sunnymede. One person was injured after a meeting between a group of people broke out into an altercation. The victim was stabbed in the leg, the unknown suspect fled on foot.

One person who was reportedly part of the group crashed as he tried to flee the area and was taken into custody on a charge of leaving the scene of a crash.
