Two pipe bombs found, safely detonated in Indian Ridge/Grape area of Mishawaka

Update: The two bombs have been safely detonated and traffic is flowing once again.

Two pipe bombs have been found in Mishawaka, and police have evacuated the area.

The pipe bombs were found by a landscaping company, according to WSBT. The South Bend bomb squad has been called in to deal with them.

In the meantime, nearby businesses like McDonalds and the Vitamin Shop were evacuated, along with some construction workers.

Two pipe bombs were recently found in Marshall County and one was found the same day in Elkhart County. Both were in rural areas.
