The Pierceton man who had part of his finger bitten off during the alleged beating of another man back in December has been arrested.

40-year-old Shawn Jefferson was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Monday. He faces several charges including criminal confinement. Jefferson is accused of working with 32-year-old Heather Hersha to hold a man captive, put him in the trunk of his own car, and drop him off in a wooded area.

Hersha was arrested in early January in connection to the incident.
