Michigan City teen accused of making threat of shooting at school

A Michigan City student is accused of threatening to shoot someone at school.

That Michigan City High School student has been arrested after his social media post started to spread Monday evening. He allegedly posted a picture of a gun and threatened that there would be a shooting at school the next day.

Police say it stems from an argument between two students.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Monday. He’s being held on an initial charge of intimidation, which is a Level 6 felony that carries at 2 and a half year maximum prison term, at the LaPorte County Jail.
