Man shot outside of Five Guys on Eddy Street in South Bend

A man was shot outside of Five Guys restaurant on N. Eddy Street.

South Bend Police were called to the 1200 block of N. Eddy Street around 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, on the report of shots fired in the area, according to South Bend Police.

While they were on scene, police were notified a male walked in to the hospital with a possible gunshot wound. The injury is described as non-life threatening.

There was a large crowd in the area at the time when the shots were fired, South Bend Police reported.

As of early Sunday afternoon, police had not received any suspect or arrest information.
