Two men were killed and a search is underway for a suspect after a shooting in Benton Harbor.

Officers with the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety were called to the 900 block of LaVette during the early morning hours of Sunday, March 25, on the report of a shooting.

On arrival, officers found the two victims. Cortez Miller, 22, and Michael Johnson, 29. They died while enroute to the hospital.

The suspect is identified as Antwan Tamon “Tank” Mims. Police describe him as a 40-year-old black male. Investigators believe he may be headed to Indianapolis.

Police have not released any details about the circumstances that led to the shootings.
