Opening night for the South Bend Cubs is less than a week away, and Executive Chef Josh Farmer has announced several new food options for the 2018 season at Four Winds Field.
The new options include two types of mac and cheese, two new burgers, and new poultry options for people who prefer chicken over beef.
Fans can enjoy a barbecue mac and cheese topped with pulled pork, scallions, bacon, and barbecue sauce. A new Cajun mac and cheese will have andouille sausage with Cajun oil and spices.
A new prime rib burger will include caramelized onions, swiss cheese and a horseradish cream sauce…and the Cajun burger will be topped with pepper jack cheese, sausage, and Cajun mayo.
For a healthier option, there will also be a new fresh fruit cart in the concourse.
The Cubs’ fourth season at Four Winds Field in South Bend starts April 7th against the Whitecaps. You can hear more about the new menu from Flavor 574 below!
