Two men from South Bend were arrested after a traffic stop turned into a drug and gun bust.

Police pulled over a Cadillac near East Madison and North Eddy Street.

During the stop, Indiana State Police say they located suspected marijuana, four handguns (one of them stolen), paraphernalia, and about $1,000 in cash.

26-year-old Brandon Whitmore and 26-year-old Booker Stokes Junior are charged with dealing and possessing marijuana, along with being in possession of a handgun without a license. Whitmore is also charged with having a stolen handgun.

A search warrant was later conducted at a home on Notre Dame Avenue, revealing more suspected marijuana and paraphernalia.
