Details are coming to light about an alleged attempted sexual assault at the Kids’ Kingdom Park on Monday.

The St. Joseph County Special Victims Unit is investigating after a 14 year-old boy told police that a man he didn’t know attempted to assault him at the park on South Greenlawn Avenue, which is located next to Potawatomi Zoo.

The teen claims the attempt happened between 8:40 and 9 o’clock Monday night, around the time the park closes. The suspected attacker was not said to have been armed.

A neighbor who lives next to the park tells ABC 57 that the park has had issues with suspicious activity lately.
