Officials have cleared the police of any wrongdoing in the Berrien County chase and crash that killed three people after a burglary at a Stevensville gun store.

The investigation has found no wrongdoing on the part of the two deputies, who have not been named, and they were scheduled to be back on the job in Berrien County for Monday.

Three people from Benton Harbor died on April 15 after police say they broke into the Black Arsenal Gun shop in Stevensville and then crashed into a tree while fleeing from police in Royalton Township.

One suspect is still in the hospital.
