The water will continue to flow at Village Green beyond Tuesday.

The Mishawaka mobile home park’s owners have made a payment Monday “in accordance with an agreement reached on Thursday, April 26 to avoid discontinuation of water service.”

That’s according to WNDU and the city of Mishawaka, who was still owed about $350,000 as of a week ago for water, sewer, and electric service.

Mishawaka Utilities had threatened to shut off water at the park on May 1 if the money hadn’t been paid. Despite charging its residents for utilities, the owners hadn’t paid a water or electric bill for eight months.
