Two Penn High School students in trouble for having a gun on campus

Two Penn High School students are in trouble with authorities after one allegedly brought a gun to school and gave it to the other.

It happened on Monday, according to a letter delivered to parents.

The principal at Penn High said a student reported the incident to school security.

St. Joseph County Police were contacted and they recovered the weapon at the student’s home.

The principal stated that police investigating this case confirmed no threats were made to any students.

The students involved are expected to face legal consequences as well as discipline from the school itself.
