President Donald Trump’s supporters stand up to protesters while waiting in line

Despite being vastly outnumbered, protesters along Cassopolis Street made their voices heard before President Trump’s rally.

In order to get to North Side Gym for the rally Thursday, Trump supporters had to navigate a long, snaking line that engulfed two entire street blocks.

That meant enduring verbal heckling from a few dozen protesters. Those protesters mostly had signs and verbal attacks about Donald Trump as a human being, but some also advocated for immigrants, gun control, and Black Lives Matter.

As you can see in the videos below, there was a lot of back-and-forth between the two sides of the street, but nothing more than that. There were no incidents of violence, and police were always nearby to keep the peace.
