A Goshen girl has died after being run over by a farm tractor Friday night.

3-year-old Bethany Martin passed away shortly before midnight, about four hours after being run over by the tractor at County Road 11 near County Road 26 west of Goshen.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department says Martin was run over during the process of a machine being hooked up to the tractor.

Martin was flown by MedFlight to South Bend Memorial hospital, where she died.
