Two brothers were stopped by Notre Dame police on handgun charges.

18-year-old Troyon Scott and 20-year-old Troyae Scott were pulled over near the intersection of Angela Boulevard and Notre Dame Avenue.

This after a passerby spotted a car “and its apparently motionless driver” stopped on the Angela Boulevard bridge. The driver reportedly sped away when the witness tapped on the driver’s side window.

A Notre Dame officer spotted the vehicle and pulled it over after it changed lanes without a signal. Police say the Scott brothers were found with two guns: a fully loaded Glock 19 and a Glock 45 semi-automatic.

Both are facing weapons and marijuana possession charges.
