Two shootings in Elkhart and Union may be linked

Investigators think two shootings in Elkhart and Union, Michigan could be linked.

Union police found the man around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. His condition is unknown. ABC 57 reported that the victim was the one who called the police from a gas station along U.S. 12. He was reportedly shot as he was walking along U.S. 12.

This shooting happened about 20 minutes after a shooting and home robbery nearby in Elkhart.

The victim in Elkhart told police two people demanded money at his home on Middlebury Street. The victim was hit by a bottle and a gun, which accidentally went off and hit another person.

The suspects are Hispanic men and officers are investigating to see if the shootings are linked.
