Senator Todd Young says the VA Mission Act signed by President Donald Trump finally gives veterans the right to make their own choices.

Senator Young says the objective of the law is to give veterans the services that they need and require.

The Senator also said that this law, which both he and Indiana Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly voted in favor of, now expands eligibility for assistance to family caregivers, which he says has not been previously offered on a broad scale and also addresses opioid prescription concerns for veterans.

Young spoke to WOWO’s Fort Wayne Morning News. You can hear the entire interview here.
