62-year-old man killed in motorcycle/vehicle crash in Elkhart

A 62-year-old man operating a motorcycle was killed when he was struck by a vehicle.

The collision happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, on John Weaver Parkway near Aeroplex Drive North.

The crash occurred when the driver of the vehicle attempted a left turn. The victim, who was traveling at a high rate of speed, hit the side of the vehicle, according to Elkhart Police.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
