Man’s body pulled from Elkhart River near Rogers Park

A man’s body was pulled from the Elkhart River.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit was called to Rogers Park just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, when the discovery was made.

The victim was identified by authorities as Gilberto Diaz, 65, of Goshen.

Foul play was not involved, according to autopsy results.

The cause and manner of Diaz’s death has not yet been determined, pending toxicology testing.
