Semi rolls over on Indiana Toll Road near Notre Dame exit

A semi driver was trapped after rolling over on the Toll Road early Tuesday morning.

Traffic was stopped in the west bound lanes for more than two hours just east of the Notre Dame exit at around mile marker 78. The crash happened sometime around 3 a.m. Tuesday, with the semi coming to rest in the median.

Fire officials spent more than two hours extricating the driver from the semi, and no details about his or her condition have been given.

Westbound traffic was completely blocked for about an hour.
