(Clifton French/ABC 57)

A SWAT team was called to a home on South Bend’s west side Tuesday afternoon.

ABC 57’s Clifton French was at the scene near Pulaski and Western. He says officers were trying to serve a warrant at about 11:40 a.m., but the person wouldn’t come out.

Update: The situation ended at about 2 p.m. when a man walked out of the house in handcuffs. Police say they were serving a warrant on a battery charge for Octavio Martinez.
