John Glenn High School students in Walkerton are mourning the loss of one of their own.

Zac Mago was going to be a senior this coming school year. However, he died this week.

ABC 57 reports an autopsy was performed on Mago, but the coroner hasn’t determined a preliminary cause of death and are thoroughly investigating, noting that Mago was a healthy young man.

Mago was a leading offensive player for the Glenn boy’s basketball team this past season that went 13-9 and lost in the sectionals.

I ask people to please pray for the hearts and minds of his family. Nobody knows the shock and devastation this can do to a person. Especially the days ahead of copeing with the love one not being visible in your life. Yes he is in heaven, the place we all groan to be but while we are here dealing with the human side of it, its still beyond words. The pain is deep. My heart grieves so much for his family. God is close to the broken hearted and that I will keep praying. The peace of Jesus Christ that surpasses all understanding.
