A church group from Goshen has several of its members caught up in the unrest unfolding in the capital of Haiti.

The group from River Oaks Community Church was expected back on Monday, However, they are one of several US church groups finding themselves stuck in the violent anti-government protests that have taken over the streets of Port-Au-Prince.

Many flights have been canceled, and the US Embassy is urging Americans to stay in place and not leave for an airport unless they know their flight is leaving the country.

The unrest is over the Haitian government’s attempt to raise fuel prices.
