Police arrest man suspected of South Bend woman’s murder in Minnesota

The man who police believe killed a South Bend mother who was found dead in Minnesota after being reported as “missing” has been arrested.

Daniel Lynn, 40, also of St. Joseph County, was arrested on Friday, July 13, in Cass County. He’s suspected in the the death of Christina Woods, 28.

Lynn was found at a campground near Edwardsburg. Lynn’s wife, Brooke Taylor, 28, was also arrested on suspicion of harboring a fugitive. Authorities say Woods and Taylor were good friends.

Woods’ remains were found in early July a shallow grave in far-northern Minnesota, on proptery that is owned by relatives of Lynn. Lynn and Taylor were friends.

Lynn is jailed pending extradition to Minnesota, where he faces a second degree murder charge.
