A search is underway for a man who went missing in the in the water at Potato Creek State Park.
The 35-year-old Elkhart man went missing after he and another person fell out of a paddleboat around 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
Rescuers retrieved a life jacket from the water, ABC 57 reported. On Monday, officers are utilizing side scan sonar equipment to image the bottom of the lake. The search was suspended at 10 p.m. Sunday and resumed Monday morning.
