Two from Los Angeles were allegedly busted with heroin on the Indiana Toll Road.

Indiana State Police say they pulled over a Nissan about six miles east of the Chesterton exit a little after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

An officer quickly became suspicious of the driver, 37-year-old Yudith Valenzuela, and the passenger, 31-year-old Luis Garcia.

A K9 officer reportedly detected narcotics and a search revealed about five kilos of suspected heroin wrapped in packages.

Both face 30 years in prison if convicted on heroin dealing charges.
