Officers were seen digging in the backyard of a Granger home Thursday.

The home used to be owned by a man named Matthew Lynn. It was sold in May, and neighbors of the home on Arthur Street tell ABC 57 that murder suspect Daniel Lynn used to live there.

He’s being held in a northern Minnesota jail, accused of murdering Christina Woods of South Bend and burying her body on family property in St. Louis County, Minnesota.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the dig and confirmed to ABC 57 that it’s related to Daniel Lynn.

Archaeology students from IUSB assisted in the search.
