A man was shot and killed by a woman at an apartment in South Bend.

Police responded to a call about a home invasion at Castle Point Apartments in Clay Township at about 8 p.m. Friday.

St. Joseph County Police say 27-year-old Titus Alexander Ellington died after a woman shot him. Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.

An autopsy is taking place in Fort Wayne.
