South Bend Police made a quick arrest in a Thursday morning home invasion.

It happened around 4:45 AM at a home in the 400 block of South Kenmore Street, near Western Avenue. That’s a few blocks away from Harrison Primary on the city’s West Side.

The two suspects reportedly took a vehicle, along with some electronics. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police reportedly found the vehicle and a pursuit started near the intersection of Bendix and Westmoor. It ended when the vehicle hit a pole at Beacon Heights Apartments. Police say a juvenile tried to run, but was arrested.

The second suspect is still on the loose. He’s described as a black man wearing a dark hoodie, dark-colored pants, and a mask.

If you know where he is, contact police.
