A suspect was arrested in Vandalia after a shooting.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shots fired call around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, in the 17000 block of State Street.

Officers found that a subject had fired several rounds at a house before taking off on foot, and located the suspected shooter, who was taken into custody.
