Active shooter video being filmed at Penn HS this week

ad

You will notice a heavy police presence in and around Penn High School again on Wednesday and Thursday, but there is no cause for alarm.

It’s part of the continued effort to make students safer in the coming school year. Police and SWAT units will be involved as an active shooter training video is filmed this week at Penn High School.

The officers are taking part in order to make the simulation as real as possible, and actors will be portraying the students and teachers during the filming.

Local officials remind the public that it’s only a simulation and there is no need for concern.
