Indiana’s DNR has set an August 20th deadline for applications to take part in deer reduction hunts this November.

The state will allow firearms-only deer hunting during a pair of two-day events at 19 state parks. The list includes: Indiana Dunes, Potato Creek, and Tippecanoe River. Three other state run facilities will allow archery-only hunting. The hunt dates are November 12th and 13th, and November 26th and 27th.

You can apply online at the Indiana Department of Natural resources. Successful applicants are allowed to take up to three deer, but only one can be antlered.
