The man who prosecutors say shot and killed a man outside of Bar Louie at U.P. Mall last year has entered a guilty plea.

Miguel Rosales has pleaded guilty to battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness. With that, the murder charge against him was dismissed.

Rosales is accused of killing Benito Bueno back in June of 2017 after an argument that began in the bar spilled into the parking lot.

Rosales did not admit to shooting Bueno, but did say he hit him in the head with a bottle.

He also said Bueno pulled out a gun while fighting with one of Rosales’ friends.

Rosales is set for sentencing on Nov. 13.
