U.S. Air Force planning flyover Notre Dame Stadium ahead of kickoff

United States Air Force Jets will roar over Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday, Sep. 1, to usher in the new season.

The school’s website says four Air Force F-15-E Strike Eagles will perform a ceremonial flyover during the pre-game activities.

In preparation, the pilots will make several test passes over campus on Thursday, Aug. 30, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Kick off between for the Irish and Wolverines is set for 7:43 p.m. on Saturday night.
