Police investigate alleged voyeurism at U.P. Mall

Mishawaka Police confirm they are investigating allegations of voyeurism at University Park Mall.

It happened on Friday, Sep. 1 at the Aeropostale store inside the mall.

95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57 spoke with the mother of the 13-year-old victim who says a man was using his cell phone to capture images of the teen while she was in a dressing room.

The manager of the store confronted the man, who denied the allegations. He left before mall security arrived, ABC 57 reported.

University Park Mall released a statement to ABC 57, saying the safety of their guests and employees is always their top priority and that they were disturbed to hear about the situation.

They also say they responded immediately and that they are pleased that the police are looking into the situation.
