Alma Del Real story to be featured on Investigation Discovery channel

The story of a South Bend murder victim will be told on the Investigation Discovery channel.

It was April of 2015 when Alma Del Real, 22, disappeared, resulting in a massive search that went on for six weeks before her body was recovered in a remote wooded area in Marshall County.

Alberto Cruz was eventually sentenced to 60 years in jail for her death. The case will be featured on the program “Shifting Stories” which airs at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sep. 9, on Investigation Discovery.
