13-year-old boy shot near St. Joseph and Fairview in South Bend

A 13-year-old boy was injured in an apparent drive-by shooting.
It happened around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 14 in the area of St. Joseph and Fairview, according to South Bend Police.
The boy walked into the hospital with a non-life-threatening wound to his upper thigh.
He told investigators he was walking in the area of Fairview and St. Joseph when a dark-colored vehicle passed by and the suspect or suspects began shooting.
