A 15-year-old boy was shot in his stomach and a leg in Benton Township.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Sep. 15 at a home in the 200 block of Pine Street in Benton Township.

Several shots were fired at the home from the street, according to Benton Township Police.

The teen was taken to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph for treatment.

The injuries are not life threatening.

So far, there is no word of any suspects or arrests.
