Two arrests have been made in connection with the incident that resulted in a South Bend Police officer inadvertently shooting himself in the leg Wednesday, but official charges have not been filed yet.
Patrolman First Class Joshua Morgan, pictured, was injured during the arrest of 46 year-old Clark Wright on South Main Street on multiple charges. Wright is suspected of aggravated battery, felony intimidation, unlawful firearm possession by a serious violent felon, and carrying a handgun without a license.
37 year-old Jeremiah Watts was also arrested for battery and resisting law enforcement.
Again, formal charges have not been made at this time against either man and the investigation by County Metro Homicide continues.
