Missing 1-year-old girl from Fort Wayne at center of AMBER Alert found safe

UPDATE: The AMBER Alert for Mary Kryder, 1, of Fort Wayne, who was reported missing on Wednesday, Sep. 26, was cancelled after authorities found the child safe and unharmed. The child’s mother was also located and is reportedly cooperating with authorities.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Allen County Sheriff’s Department has requested the activation of an AMBER Alert from Fort Wayne.

The victim, Mary Kryder, is a 1 year old bi-racial female, 30 pounds, blonde hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing teal shirt, and black sparkly pants. She was last seen Wednesday, Sep. 26, at 6 p.m. in Fort Wayne, and is believed to be in extreme danger.

The suspect, Ikeca Betzner, is a 27 year old bi-racial female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 133 pounds, brown curly hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jean jacket with gray sleeves and faded blue yoga pants.

The suspect vehicle is a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra with Indiana Autism Awareness plate DD6937.
