An Elkhart man was arrested on drug-related charges after police arrived at his home for a welfare check.
It happened on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the 2100 block of Toledo Road.
When officers arrived, they smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the apartment and saw suspected methamphetamine, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC-57.
Officers obtained a search warrant and inside they found 8 grams of marijuana, half a gram of meth, 99 grams of cocaine, 80 alprazolam pills, digital scales, a .38 revolver reported stolen, a .357 handgun, $600 in cash and ammunition.
Juan Martinez, 24, was arrested on preliminary charges of receiving stolen property, dealing cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine.
