One man is dead and another injured after a shooting at Walnut Trail Apartments.

Elkhart Police were called around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, to the 1800 block of Filbert Way in regard to a fight in the parking lot.

While enroute, officers were notified about the sound of gunfire coming from the scene.

When officers arrived they found a man, Antonio Williams, 23, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Officers found a second man injured from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with with what appeared to be non-life threatening wounds.

Evidence technicians and detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit continue to conduct an investigation into the death.
