Man injured in shooting found on S. Illinois Street in South Bend

There was gunfire in South Bend on election night.

The call, around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the 400 block of South Illinois Street.

Police say a 51-year-old man was shot in the leg.

His injury was said to be non-life-threatening.

So far, there is no word of what led to the shooting or any suspects or arrests.
