18-year-old arrested after alleged break-in at Four Winds Field in South Bend

South Bend Police caught a man after an alarm was tripped at Four Winds Field on Monday, Nov. 12.

Officers arrived at the stadium around 10:45 p.m. and found the suspect, Derryante Buggs, 18m, in the stadium, according to WNDU.

Buggs allegedly tried to escape by running across the field but was eventually caught by officers, WNDU reported.

An office door was found to have been broken into.

Buggs was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and resisting law enforcement.
