Mishawaka man caught with 600 child porn images sentenced

A Mishawaka man who pleaded guilty to making child pornography has learned his fate.

Matthew Ridenour, 30, has been ordered to serve 180 months in prison and 5 years of supervised release.

According to court documents, Ridenour recorded a video of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct in February of last year.

He also admitted to having over 600 images of child pornography on his computer.

The case was investigated by the FBI, St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department and the St. Joe County Prosecutor’s Cybercrime Unit.
