A report of a weapon on a Warsaw school bus turned out to be false.

The Warsaw Police Department was made aware of the report on Tuesday.

An email sent to parents by the school district says one student was removed from the bus by police.

Other students who falsely reported the incident are pending discipline, according to school transportation.

Officials say students were in no immediate harm and were taken home safely.
