South Bend bank robbery suspect set for arraignment on Monday

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against James Lamar Spann, Jr., 22.

He is charged with attempted robbery and robbery for incidents that occurred on December 13, 2018 at Community Wide Federal Credit Union and Flagstar Bank in South Bend.

Spann as ordered without bond until his initial bail hearing.

He was arrested yesterday and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail, where he
remains in custody.

He is scheduled to appear before a Magistrate for his initial bail hearing and arraignment on Monday afternoon.
