Man sentenced to 24 years in prison for shooting of 6 people in South Bend

A second man charged in the shooting on Dayton Street in South Bend that injured six people has been sentenced.

Jamone Hodge Jr., 19, will spend 24 years in prison after pleaded guilty to six counts of battery by means of a deadly weapon.

He’ll also serve two more years for charges in a separate firearms case.

The shooting happened back in March.

Henry Turner IV, 24, was found guilty back of attempted murder in September for his part in the crime.

He was sentenced to 100 years behind bars.
