Nappanee man arrested on suspicion of child molestation

A Nappanee man was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 23, on a child molestation charge.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies began an investigation after receiving a complaint of possible child molestation, which led to the arrest of Lester Chupp, 72.

He is currently booked in the Kosciusko County Jail and faces a preliminary charge of Child Molestation, a level 3 felony.

Chupp is being held on a $20,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
